Judd Apatow directs, co-produces, and writes this spin-off comedy expanding on the lives of Pete and Debbie from the movie Knocked Up.
Bottom Line:
Fortunately this is already out on most OnDemand features and RedBox (04/19/13) so you don't have to make the decision of whether or not this is worth the visit to your local theater. Judd Apatow and his "crew" of actors have put out some hilarious films and this one, on occasion, is no different.. This film is kinda like a roller coaster with only one loop-dee-loop and numerous breakdowns. You can't wait to get to the peak and then when you do it's too quickly over and you find yourself at the bottom again. Flashes of hilarity, Megan Fox, and good acting make this movie a worth-while watch. However they don't make up for the over 2 hour run time. This is perfect for that Sunday hangover couch session. Get cuddly with a blanket, turn the A/C up, and grab a beer or two.
The Pairing:
We recommend the personal "Go-To" beer for this one. Something light, something free, and something that's (hopefully) already in your fridge.
